Nuclear deal going forward with steady pace: Spokesman
IRNA - Islamic Republic News Agency
Tehran, July 24, IRNA -- Foreign Ministry spokesman Bahram Qasemi said Iran nuclear deal also known as Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) is going forward vigorously.
Qasemi made the remarks Monday in his weekly press conference.
In response to a question over US approach on JCPOA, he said nuclear deal is a multilateral agreement not a bilateral one.
European countries are committed to JCPOA and they do not agree with US behavior, said the spokesamn.
US officials also claim that they are committed to the deal and their lack of commitment is not equal to walking out of it.
He went on to say that Europe and other JCPOA parties have taken clear stances on the nuclear deal.
