Raeisi: We need a revolutionary government to cash JCPOA cheque

Yasouj, May 15, IRNA -- Presidential candidate Hojatoleslam Ebrahim Raeisi termed the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) as a pledge for the country, and said Iran has carried out all its obligations while the other party has failed to do so.

Addressing thousands of enthusiast fans in Yasouj, he said powerful presence of people in the scene has removed the shadow of war over the country, he said.

On social issues, Raeisi said that only the capable youths can resolve the country's economic problems and unemployment.

He reiterated one of Iran's main goals is to avoid backwardness, and said, 'But we never tolerate the current situation and are determined to turn this situation in favor of people.'

"If the country's suffered lack of natural resources and capital, the people were contended the same as war time, but they cannot tolerate discriminations," Hojjatoleslam Raeisi said.

He went on to say that the government of work and dignity has prepared different programs based on different geographic specifications of the country.

'It is possible to remove poverty, unemployment crisis and fraud through practice of a revolutionary and effective management,' Raeisi added.

He further said that by relying on such huge natural resources and eligible human workforces, there should be no sign of unemployment nationwide.

'In view of God's given assets, the needy families should be under the support of charity organizations while the high number of jobless people is concerning,' Raeisi said.

'There are some 11 million youth ready for marriage, but due to shortage of jobs and accommodations they could not get married,' he added.
