Iran's defense capabilities correspond to threats: Commander

Tehran, April 15, IRNA -- The Army monitors all the threats inside the country and the region as well as the external threats and accordingly, it has promoted its defense capabilities, Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the Army Brigadier General Ahmad-Reza Pourdastan said.
Speaking in a local ceremony, he said that the enemy has deceitfully adopted a friendly approach towards Islamic Republic to realize its sinister goals.
"We should be vigilant and not to be optimistic towards the enemy."
The commander underlined that if a country dares to attack Iran, it will be given a crushing response.
Enemies are not able to catch Iran off-guard, he added.
