Foreign Ministry dismisses Iran's new ballistic missile test
IRNA - Islamic Republic News Agency
Tehran, Feb 20, IRNA -- Foreign Ministry spokesman Bahram Qasemi denied on Monday that Iran wants to conduct a ballistic missile test.
"Iran does not intend to testfire a ballistic missile today," Qasemi said, answering a question on whether Iran wants to conduct such a test.
"Whoever says this is a liar," he said.
Iran says its missile program is aimed at deterrence and for defensive purposes.
