Iran publishes Joint Commission of the JCPOA resolutions

Tehran, Dec 23, IRNA -- Iran's Foreign Ministry official website on Friday published the Joint Commission of the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) resolutions.

Seven documents were published in the Foreign Ministry website in English.

Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad-Javad Zarif requested holding the next session of Joint Commission of JCPOA on January 10, 2017.

Iranian President Hassan Rouhani on December 13, 2016, ordered the Foreign Ministry to pursue the US breach of its obligations in the JCPOA.

The Joint Commission of the JCPOA held several meetings before execution of the nuclear deal and after that.

Iran's Foreign Ministry official website on Friday published the Joint Commission of JCPOA resolutions in order to prevent release of baseless reports in that regard by the western media.

The resolution underlines, 'The Joint Commission has considered and approved the plan in accordance with the parameters below, under its authority in consulting and providing guidance on implementation matters. This decision of the Joint Commission represents a common understanding of the scope of the relevant commitments of the JCPOA.'

The resolution includes 'procedure to determine the SWU attribution to the IR-1, IR-2m and IR-4 centrifuge types.'

'Iran briefed the Joint Commission on its plan regarding certain enriched uranium materials, in accordance with the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action.'

'Iran briefed the Joint Commission on its plan regarding excess heavy water, in accordance with the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA).'

'Iran raised with the Joint Commission its request to continue to operate after Implementation day the hot cells with dimensions beyond 6 cubic meters in volume and specifications set out in the JCPOA. The Joint Commission considered and approved the operation of the following hot cells, subject to ongoing IAEA verification of the uses set forth below: Practical Arrangements for the Working Group on Implementation of Sanctions.'

'In furtherance of implementation of its commitments under the JCPOA, Iran has developed a plan to transfer its Tehran Research Reactor (TRR) partially fabricated fuel plates and enriched targets out of Iran as well as provide for their return for future use.'
