TEHRAN(ISNA)- Iranian ambassador to the UK Hamid Baeidinejad announced the country's objection to the UK foreign office towards the recent comments made by its Prime Minister Theresa May.
In her speech at the Gulf Co-Operation Council in the Bahraini capital of Manama on Wednesday, Theresa May accused Iran of 'aggressive action' in the Middle East region.
Referring to her comments, Iran's foreign ministry spokesman Bahram Qasemi said, "the countries that have caused to insecurity, violence, war and terrorism through their irresponsible interferences have no right to accuse others of meddling in the region. "
He stated that divisive effects of the UK government to return to the region are in vain.
