Iran, Russian negotiators review process of JCPOA implementation

Tehran, Aug 31, IRNA -- Iranian deputy foreign ministers Abbas Araqchi and Majid Takht-e Ravanchi on Wednesday held separate meetings with Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov about process of JCPOA implementation.

The Russian and the Iranian officials discussed the implementation of the JCPOA both on the sanctions area and technical cooperation.

The officials underlined the resolve on both Tehran and Moscow for successful implementation of the JCPOA.

They also talked about Iran-Russia cooperation on development of modern technology of stable isotopes in Fordo site, construction of the second phase of Bushehr nuclear power plant, deal of heavy water with Russia and technical cooperation with the IAEA.

Ryabkov and his Iranian counterparts called for the removal of obstacles on the way of Iran doing economic transaction with the world.

Ryabkov, who led the Russian negotiating team during Iran nuclear talks, arrived in Tehran for a one-day visit on Wednesday.
