TEHRAN (ISNA)- Iran has deployed S-300 missile system in Fordo nuclear site, Qom Province, central Iran.

It was also accompanied by a number of trailers carrying the system.

"There has been no change in defense situation of Iran with changes in political approaches including before and after talks. Nuclear achievement is a national achievement which needs to be protected seriously, "Commander of Iran's Khatamol-Anbia Air Base Farzad Esmaili said in the ceremony.

He said air defense exercises are practiced one time in places where there is no nuclear center, however in nuclear centers the exercises are conducted several times.

He said that the missile system has not been stationed completely, stressing that Iran's airspace is safe.
