FM spokesman: Iran-US talks excluded to nuclear issue
IRNA - Islamic Republic News Agency
Tehran, Aug 1, IRNA -- Foreign Ministry spokesman Bahram Qassemi said on Monday that diplomatic encounter with Washington excluded to the nuclear dispute.
Qassemi made the remarks in response to recent remarks by the Director of the US Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) John Brennan claiming that Iran and the US are negotiating about a wide range of issues.
CIA chief is not in the position to make irrelevant comments about Iran's internal affairs, Qassemi said.
Such comments by the US officials are aimed to create a psycho war to polarize the Iranian nation, the spokesman added.
He said that the Iranian people never heed the statements of the US officials and are cleverer compared to the US intelligence officers.
