Iran Army Aviation, strong in all missions: Commander

Tehran, July 24, IRNA -- Commander of Ground Force of the Iranian Army Brigadier General Ahmad Reza Pourdastan said Iran Army Aviation has been capable of doing any kinds of missions till now.
Pourdastan made the remarks Sunday at a ceremony to unveil the 209 tactical helicopter simulator.
Iran is among those five countries around the world being capable of building such simulators, he stressed.
'One of major missions of the armed forces is to preserve the defense and military readiness,' the commander said at the unveiling ceremony.
Today, he said, the country is being threatened by proxy wars.' So', he added, 'we watch all threats and have made ourselves ready for dealing with proxy wars.'
