Supreme Leader: US is deceitful, keeps sabotaging

TEHRAN (ISNA)- Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei said the US keeps sabotaging and acting deceitfully, and then complains at Iranians being pessimistic about it.
The Supreme Leader made the remarks here on Wednesday during a meeting with workers from all over the country who came to visit him on the occasion of Workers Week in Iran.
Referring to the recent remarks by some American officials who insisted on maintaining sanctions against Iran, he said they approve of banks transactions with Iran only on paper but in practice endeavor to enhance Islamophobia to stop deals with Iran.
Describing the community of Iranian workers as always loyal to the Islamic Revolution and Republic, he stressed the need to look at the issue of promoting domestic production as a sacred topic and said consumption of foreign products should be considered as a move against values.
Turning to the run-off elections to be held for the Iranian parliament on Friday, he said this round of elections is just as important as the first one.
