AEOI Spokesman: Arak reactor works ended

Tehran, Jan 14, IRNA -- Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI) Spokesman Behrouz Kamalvandi announced on Thursday that Arak heavy water reactor works ended, adding that inspectors of International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) will verify it on Thursday afternoon.
He said that now we are in final phases and works will end today and tomorrow (Friday) and then we enter an important era, an era, which Iran will develop its nuclear activities and enrichment, with a bright future to reach industrial capacity, will be done.
The spokesman said that after two years compressed work, especially in the fields of legal and political, a big job has been done and big powers accepted to respect Iran's nuclear rights.
Answering a question concerning heart of Arak reactor has been taking out? Kamalvandi said that yesterday we implemented the final phase of central sector and cores of the central sectors have been filled with cement and on Thursday afternoon inspectors of IAEA will verify it and report on that.
He added that practical works of both sides have been done and writing related to these measures is being done in Vienna.
Replying a question concerning that who will present in re-design stage of Arak reactor? Kamalvandi said that Chinese will be there and other countries also have declared their commitments concerning different fields of design, review in design and supplying equipment to us.
