2016 Atlas of Iranian Naval Facilities published

Tehran, Jan 10, IRNA -- Headquarters for Development of Marine Sciences Technology affiliated to the Office of Vice President for Science and Technology published the 2016 Atlas of Iranian Naval Facilities.

The Presidential Office headquarters has published this atlas in cooperation with the Iranian Naval Engineering Association, the Institute for Ranking, the Iranians and a number of active naval parts and facilities manufacturers aimed at culture building and providing reference books for science and technology.

More precisely speaking, the 2016 Atlas of Iranian Naval Facilities reflects the Iranians' capabilities and expertise in manufacturing the naval facilities, and infrastructures for naval use aimed at increasing the strategic decision making power of the planners and managers as well.

Thus the import of the facilities manufactured inside the country will end.

The Atlas of Iranian Naval Facilities is inclusive of such information as the naval facilities manufactured in Iran, the images of the products and the specifications of the manufacturers which are categorized in various groups.

The bilingual atlas in Persian and English language will be available for the enthusiasts and activists in this field.

The Atlas introduces naval industries have always cared for having access to rapid, trustworthy, and standardized facilities in need of proper cognition.

The Headquarters for Development of Marine Sciences Technology last year published the Atlas of Iranian Shipyard in collaboration with Association of Marine Engineering and Shipyard Factories.

The atlas is also aimed at increasing the strategic decision-making and planning capabilities of the officials concerned and blocking the path for importing those ships than can be built domestically.

There is information on launching new ships, to salvage the sunk ships, main facilities in the shipyards and jetties, parking yards and workshops, the annual manufacturing capacities of the Iranian shipyards, and their maintenance capacities case by case for the interested individuals.
