Iran takes delivery of almost 197 tons of yellow cake: Salehi

Tehran, Dec 29, IRNA -- Head of Atomic Energy Organization of Iran Ali Akber Salehi said on Tuesday that Iran took delivery of almost 197 tons of yellow cake in return for 11 tons of low enriched uranium shipped to Russia.

He told Goftegou Radio that Iran took delivery of yellow cake first and then exported uranium, in compliance with Supreme Leader's letter assigning the government to take delivery of the package first and then giving what should be given.

He hoped that Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) would soon enter into force, based on which all sanctions will be lifted and the situation will be restored to normalcy.
