IRNA - Islamic Republic News Agency
Tehran, Dec 19, IRNA -- Defense and Armed Forces Logistical Support Minister Brigadier General Hossein Dehqan said on Saturday that advanced countries have had good proposals for military cooperation with Iran since the signing of the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA).
Brigadier General Dehqan who was speaking in an armed forces festival on the occasion of Research Week said that such countries' proposals are made under such conditions that throughout the years of the imposed nuclear sanctions the Iranian military industries achieved very great advancements both in research and in development of various types of military equipment.
'In achieving this status we have used our entire local capacities and potentials to annul the will of the outsiders who wished to halt, or at least slow down our growing defense capabilities,' he added.
He said that the Iranian military doctrine is achieving a status that the outsiders will no longer be able to impose their will on us due to our need to them and that we will not be able to make our choices out of free will and national interests.
