AEOI: Nuclear program to proceed vigorously

Kashan, Isfahan Prov., Nov. 29, IRNA -- Deputy Head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI), Asghar Zarean, said on Sunday that Iran's peaceful nuclear program has not stopped, rather will continue more strongly in light of the international technical cooperation.
Speaking on the sidelines of the visit of the chairman, vice-chairman and members of the Majlis National Security and Foreign Policy Commission to Natanz nuclear site, Zarean said AEOI has undergone heavy mission to develop national nuclear program in the current transition period.
He said that AEOI is on its way to progress based on the short- and long-term programs and that political pressures, threats and sanctions of enemies cannot have the least effect on the country's self-confidence.
He said that Arak reactor will get upgraded in tune with the international standards.
