Iran Navy unveils new defense achievements

TEHRAN (ISNA)- Iran unveiled the newest achievements of the Navy in a ceremony on Monday attended by Army Deputy Commander-in-Chief Abdol-Rahim Mousavi and Iranian Navy Commander Habibollah Sayyari.
The achievements include Ghadir submarine, an electronic system for showing maps and information management, radar networking of operational districts.
S, X radar bands, stabilizer and modulator for controlling crafts, a sender and receiver for controlling sea-based fire.
The simulator for diver's exit of the submarine include practicing emergency exit of the submarine and lessening costs and training time of the forces.
The electrical system for showing map is used for receiving navigational data from sensors and showing the scene information electronically.
The system can create several operational scenes simultaneously.
The S-band radar is capable of detecting and intercepting 100 targets simultaneously. It is also capable of separating fixed targets from mobile ones.
