Larijani calls for setting up strong committee for implementing JCPOA

Tehran, Nov 2, IRNA -- Majlis Speaker Ali Larijani on Monday called for setting up a strong committee in the Foreign Ministry for implementing the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action struck between Iran and the six world powers on July 14.

Larijani made the remarks to conference of Iranian ambassadors to foreign countries and envoys to international organizations.

Larijani proposed that the committee has to be composed of technical, economic and legal experts and should even make use of the view points of the critics.

He said that Iran wanted the lifting of arbitrary sanctions on the country and improving economic relations with the world and the JCPOA has paved the way for meeting the goals of the Iranian nation.

Larijani also underlined that the nuclear deal did not allow Western governments to damage Iran's peaceful nuclear capability.
