Iran has no confidential deal with G5+1: Zarif
IRNA - Islamic Republic News Agency
Tehran, Oct 18, IRNA -- Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif has said that there is no confidential deal between Iran and the G5+1.
Zarif was speaking to editors-in-chief and managing-editors of newspapers from seven Arab countries, namely Jordan, Syria, Iraq, Oman, Kuwait, Lebanon and Egypt.
The US officials were eager to make a deal with Iran over the region, Zarif said, adding that Iran has no regional agreement with the US.
'We told them that we negotiate in the region with our regional friends,' Zarif said.
However, he noted Iran has a confidential agreement with International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) concerning the Additional Protocol that neither Iran nor the agency has the right to unveil its details.
