TEHRAN (ISNA)- The Second-in-command of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) Brigadier General Hossein Salami said the IRGC holds a unique ballistic missile.
"We have a (type of) ballistic missile which only the US and Russia may own and confronting the missile is almost impossible," he said.
Referring to Iran's missile capabilities, he said, "There is no limitation in launching missiles to any number of targets."
He also referred to the IRGC's domination over high seas surrounding Iran, and said, "We are monitoring all moves in Persian Gulf, Oman Sea and part of Indian Ocean and any other place linked to our national security directly or indirectly round the clock."
Iran's security-intelligence patrols, drones, modern radars and sophisticated electronic-warfare tool are controlling the areas, Salami said, adding the IRGC owns drones with the range of 3.000 kilometers and capable of conducting surveillance and strike operations.
"We are monitoring all moves near Iran round the clock," he said.
