Russian Rosatom to work with Iran to modify Fordo site application

Moscow, Sept 14, IRNA -- Russian Rosatom Company is working with Iranian partners on a plan to modify application of Fordo nuclear site, head of Russia's state nuclear company Rosatom, Sergei Kiriyenko said on Monday.

Rossiya Segodnya Multimedia quoted Kiriyenko as saying in an address to the 59th Conference of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) in Vienna that Russia in turn has started settling issues related to the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA).

He said the Russian party has launched widescale measures, entering talks with the Iranian party on participation within framework of the JCPOA.

He added that his company is in intensive cooperation with the Iranian partners, working on the technical project for change to modify application of the Fordo site to produce durable isotopes.

'The Russian party adheres to all its commitments within framework of the JCPOA,' he added.
