TEHRAN (ISNA)- Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad-Javad Zarif said any Congress's objection to the JCPOA between Iran and G5+1 should be stopped by the US administration.

"From the outset, we had said that the US administration has been responsible for implementing the Joint Comprehensive Plan Of Action (JCPOA). Any Congress's measure which runs counter to the JCPOA should be stopped by the US administration, otherwise it violates the JCPOA," Zarif said in a press conference with his Brazilian counterpart Mauro Vieira here in Tehran on Sunday.

He added that Iran is waiting for the required steps to implement the JCPOA in the relevant countries. "There is a group in the region, especially Zionist regime and hawkish group in the US, which are against any agreement because their interests in served by conflicts and violence."

He added these objections would not overshadow the responsibility of the US administration and government for the nuclear conclusion. "The US incumbent administration and the upcoming one are obliged to implement the JCPOA in case it is signed, any excuse means violation of the JCPOA and no excuse can justify its violation."
