Araqchi optimistic about clinching nuclear deal

Tehran, March 16, IRNA -- Senior member of Iran's nuclear negotiating team Seyed Abbas Araqchi said on Monday that today's talks between Iran and the US in Lausanne were ' totally satisfactory' and expressed optimistic about reaching a final deal.
At the end of today's bilateral negotiations in Lausanne, Switzerland, between Iran and the US, Araqchi said that working process is completely clear, all cases should have a solution and then solutions are written by details, so in this case the two sides are getting closer to an agreement.
He termed bilateral meeting on Monday between Iran and the US as intensive and heavy and added that in the past two rounds ' We succeeded in mking some progress', and hoped such progress would continue in this round too.
The senior member of Iran's nuclear team said that in technical as well as political issues there are still some gaps, but technical issues can help settle political ones and finally the political decision could lead to a final agreement.
Araqchi concluded that the foreign ministers of Iran and the US are in Lausanne until Friday and ' We hope solutions could be found in upcoming days to narrow gaps in this concern.'
