Bushehr power plant stops for two months maintenance services

Tehran, March 1, IRNA -- Bushehr power plant ceased operation from hour 23:00 on March 1, 2015 for two months maintenance services.

According to the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran, the decision was made for preparatory and maintenance service to link the power plant to national grid next summer when electricity consumption reaches its peak.

AEOI said that the power plant currently has around 190 days effective fuel function and in order to function 300 days, refuelling will take place early June, when it is required to generate the most quantity of electricity.
