TEHRAN, February 26. /TASS/. Iran has tested its new reconnaissance robots during the Great Prophet 9 war games, local news agencies reported on Thursday.

These new complexes can penetrate the enemy's territory at the depth of 5-7 kilometers and can be used at any time of the day, according to the Iranian media reports.

During the second day of the maneuvers in Iran's southern and western provinces, the armed forces will use reconnaissance drones, Ramait roadside mines, Sayyad bounding mines, Asefeh 23mm Gatling guns, Arash shoulder-launched weapons and sniper rifles Siyavash.

Revolutionary Guards' Navy wrapped up the first day of major massive drills in the Strait of Hormuz in the Persian Gulf on Wednesday.

The exercises focused on enemy targets off Larak Island and involved dozens of vessels, including high-speed boats, 50 coast-to-sea missile complexes and four F4 fighter jets.

The drills are expected to last for three days. Iranian media reports say the exercises are to test and increase the striking power of combat units of the Revolutionary Guards.
