US hostility towards Iran not ended: Basij Commander

Hamedan, Dec 11, IRNA -- The US hostility towards Iran has not ended and these animosities will still continue, commander of Basij popular forces said on Thursday.
Speaking in a local ceremony, Commander of Basij (volunteer forces) Brigadier General Mohammad Reza Naqdi noted that Washington has not given up its regime change scenario.
If US had the power to invade Iran, it would not hesitate to do it, he added.
He said that the US economy is suffering from downturn and the US administration has considerable foreign debts.
The commander said that US imposed samctions on Iran for political objectives and noted that the Iranian nation including the Basij forces should be prepared to defend the country against economic pressures.
He stressed the use of Resistance Economy to develop the countrys economy.
The Supreme Leader has assigned the government to adopt Resistance Economy to thwart the impacts of the sanctions.
President Hassan Rouhani said on Wednesday that the government has considered Resistance Economy in drawing up the budget plan for the next Iranian year and is well-prepared for the worst scenarios about the oil price falls.
He said that the oil price fall is not of economic origin and a political ploy against the Muslim nations.
