TEHRAN (ISNA)- Iranian Ground Force Commander Lieutenant General Ahmad Reza Pourdastan said on Wednesday that the country would stage a massive drill dubbed 'Prophet Mohammad' late December or early January in southeastern part of Iran.
'We will practice two tactics of asymmetric war, war with new threats and proxy wars,' he said, adding Iran would also use suicide, surveillance and imaging drones in the military drill.'
The Iranian commander noted that the drill would be partially held in field by means of bullets. The drill also includes practices related to commanding headquarters.
The maneuver could increase capability and potentials of the Iranian ground force.
