MPs declare support for nuclear negotiating team
IRNA - Islamic Republic News Agency
Tehran, Nov 29, IRNA -- Majority of MPs declared their support for nuclear negotiating team including the foreign minister, Hossein Sobhani-Nia, a member of Majlis presiding board said on Saturday.
Speaking to reporters, he noted that Fordo and Arak nuclear facilities as well as removal of sanctions were major topics of negotiations between Iran and G5+1.
Sobhani-Nia added that MPs asked Mohammad Javad Zarif to resist big powers illegal demands.
Lawmakers declared their support for the process of nuclear negotiations between Iran and G5+1, he underlined.
His remarks came days after Iran and the six world powers ended seven days of intensive talks and decided to meet again in the next 7 months after missing the November 24 deadline to clinch a final deal to resolve their 12-year standoff over Tehrans nuclear program.
The talks has been extended until July 1, 2015, and the world powers had taken up to release $700 million of Irans frozen assets on a monthly basis.
The 10th and latest round of negotiations between Iran and the six world powers was held in Vienna from November 18 to 24.
Tehran and the six countries agreed to extend negotiations until November 24 after they failed to reach an agreement on a number of key issues.
