Iran rejects IAEA report as politically motivated
IRNA - Islamic Republic News Agency
Tehran, Nov 22, IRNA -- Spokesman for Atomic Energy Organization of Iran Behrouz Kamalvandi on Saturday rejected a recent report by the International Atomic Energy Agency on Irans nuclear activities as partial and politically motivated.
Kamalvandi said that Iran is ready to allow IAEA inspectors to carry out an authorized inspection of Marivan nuclear facilities so that the peaceful nature of Irans nuclear activities would become more evident to the world.
16 cases from the 18 ones agreed upon by Iran and the UN nuclear agency had been concluded, Kamalvandi said, blaming the remaining two cases on faults in the IAEA mechanism.
The AEOI spokesman said that the data used by the IAEA are false and fabricated and regretted that the agency relies on such false data.
