G5+1 should take a brave decision in talks with Iran: Official

IRNA - Islamic Republic News Agency

Tehran, Nov 9, IRNA -- G5+1 should take a brave political decision to resolve nuclear dispute with Iran, spokesman of Iran Atomic Energy Organization Behrouz Kamalvandi said on Sunday.

He made the remarks in an interview with IRNA on the sidelines of his visit to the 20th International Exhibit of Press and News Agencies.

Iranian negotiators are committed to resolve the nuclear issue in light of the national interests and the Iranian nations rights, Kamalvandi said.

He noted that the Islamic Republic of Iran will do its best to remove the baseless and illogical concerns of the western governments in a technical way.

Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif is currently on a visit to Muscat for new round of talks with G5+1.

Zarif held a meeting with US Secretary of State John Kerry and the EU coordinator Catherine Ashton in Muscat on Sunday.
