TEHRAN (ISNA)- Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif said 'excessive demands' of some G5+1 members have been the obstacle to reach an agreement.

Zarif in a meeting with former French Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Dominique de Villepin here in Tehran said, 'The talks have reached a sensitive level, and the Islamic Republic of Iran has presented numerous suggestions so far.'

'Now, it is the turn of the other side to show its will for reaching an agreement. So far, excessive demands of some members of the other side have prevented arriving at an agreement.'

Dominique de Villepin, for his part, said any final agreement between Iran and the five permanent members of the UN Security Council plus Germany is of great importance, and the deal would affect the entire Middle East, in case it comes true.
