TEHRAN (ISNA)- Secretary of Iranian Supreme National Security Council Ali Shamkhani rejected reports that the country is ready to battle the terrorist group of the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) in return for its nuclear case.

'What is said that Iran has expressed that it will cooperate against the ISIL is in return for the nuclear issue is a lie and manipulated report,' he said following meeting with Lebanese Parliament speaker Nabih Berri in Lebanon.

He said Iran has had and will not have any relation with the ISIL and 'It is one of our honors.'

Shamkhani further noted that the so-called international coalition against the ISIL is 'ridiculous and lacks moral and legal bases.'
