IRNA - Islamic Republic News Agency
Ankara, April 19, IRNA -- The process of nuclear talks between Iran and Group 5+1 is difficult but progressing, spokesman for the National Atomic Energy Organization of Iran Behrouz Kamalvandi said on Saturday.
He made the remarks in the Conference on fifth Middle East and North Africa nuclear industry 2014 in Istanbul.
He said Iran has been conducting two different jobs namely cooperating with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) and the negotiations with Group 5+1.
He stressed that Iran has always been cooperative to the international nuclear watchdog and stayed faithful to its commitments.
On the Iranian expectations from Group 5+1 to honor the agreement struck last November, Kamalvandi noted, Iran expects the parties to the nuclear deal to act according to their undertakings and promises.
The spokesman said that drafting the Comprehensive Agreement must be worked out according to the timetable to lift the sanctions from July 20, the deadline set for the purpose.
