Army receives mass produced ballistic missiles

Tehran, March 5, IRNA -- Defense Ministry on Wednesday announced that it has handed over mass produced ballistic missiles to the Iranian Army.
The missiles were handed over to the army during a special ceremony attended by Defense Minister Brigadier General Hossein Dehqan.
Addressing the ceremony, the minister hailed the exemplary zeal of his ministrys staff and experts in promoting Iran's deterrence power and increasing its defense might.
He said the Defense Ministry experts have manifested their skill and knowhow once again by handing over the ballistic missiles they had designed and engineered to the army.
The ballistic missiles included Qadr, Qiam, Fateh 110 and Khalij-e Fars (the Persian Gulf) as well as the Mersad air defense system.
