Iran only discusses N. issue in talks with 6 powers, says Afkham

TEHRAN (ISNA)- Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman reiterated that the country's talks with the 5 permanent members of the UN Security Council plus Germany only focuses on nuclear issue and does not include other matters.
'Except Iran's peaceful nuclear activities, no other issue is on the agenda of talks with the G5+1. No other issue has been and will be discussed in previous and upcoming round of talks,' Marziyeh Afkham said.
She also said Iran's defense might is one of its factors of power, adding that, 'Iran has always expressed its readiness for developing interaction and defense cooperation with regional states as an important element for materialization of peace, security, stability and mutual confidence.'
The US officials have already called for review of Iranian ballistic missiles during Iran's talks with 6 countries.
The next round of talks between Iran and G5+1 is scheduled for February 18 in Vienna at the level of deputy foreign ministers to be led by Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif and the EU Foreign Policy Chief Catherine Ashton.
