Iran unveils phased-array radar system

TEHRAN (ISNA)- Iran unveiled a radar system on Wednesday in a ceremony attended by Navy Commander Rear Admiral Habibollah Sayyari and Deputy Commander of Iranian Army Brigadier General Abdolrahim Mousavi.
'Asr' (Era) radar system is a three-dimensional radar capable of identifying objects up to 200 kilometers.
It is capable of detecting and intercepting objects in air, sea and land and it can intercept 100 targets simultaneously.
The phased-array newly-developed system can confront electronic war and lessen power consumption.
