Araqchi optimistic about next nuclear talks

Tehran, Nov 10, IRNA -- Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi said on Sunday that good progress of was made in nuclear talks and expressed hope that the two sides would reach an agreement in the next stages.
Araqchi who is also a member of Iranian nuclear negotiating team told reporters that Geneva talks were intensive and difficult, but useful and constructive as well.
The advances made at Geneva talks covered a high percentage of the issues, he said.
He said that split emerged among the western governments amid the differences of Iran with Group 5+1 so we agreed to continue negotiations in another session."
Iran and G5+1 set Nov 20-21 as the date for the next round of talks which will be held in Geneva, Switzerland once again.
"We felt that the two sides needed another opportunity to discuss reaching a deal," Araqchi said, "We are facing six different countries with different interests and concerns and each country has its own stance."
He expressed hope that the two sides would reach an agreement in the future.
