Iran envoy: Tehran, Moscow have not held any serious talks on S-300

TEHRAN (ISNA) -- Iranian ambassador to Russia Mahmoud Reza Sajjadi said Iran has not held any serious talks with Russia on S-300 missile system.
'The issue has been investigated and no serious talks have not been conducted,' he said, asked about importing Anti-2500 system instead of S-300.
He also highlighted Iran-Russia close positions on regional issues, and said, 'We regard Caspian Sea as the sea of friendship and peace among five littoral states of Caspian Sea. We are also against establishment of foreign military troops in Central Asia.'
Also regarding Russian President Vladimir Putin's trip to Iran, he said the trip can help boosting bilateral ties between Tehran and Moscow.
'We have good agreement with Russia and we hope that the advanced agreements and cooperation between the two countries could be widened in all fields.'
