Tehran, Sept 25, IRNA -- Iran's Defense Minister Hossein Dehqan unveiled two new missile systems on Wednesday.

The ceremony to unveil the two systems called Qader and Nasr was held on Wednesday simultaneous with celebrations of the fourth day of the nationwide Sacred Defense Week.

Talking to reporters, the minister said that highly-skilled and efficient experts of the Iranian aerospace industries belonging to Defense Ministry managed to use their unique creativity and innovation to build the air-launched version of the systems which were already mass-produced as anti-ship cruise missiles.

The utilization of Qader missiles with a range of over 200 kms and Nasr with a range of 35 kms remarkably adds to the defense power of the Iranian air fighters, he added.

He referred to rapid preparation, low flight altitude, high precision in hitting targets especially the marine vessels, high destruction abilities and high resistance against radio transmission interceptions as the outstanding features of the two missile systems.
