Abbasi: IAEA seasonal report acknowledges peaceful nature of Iran's nuclear program

Saint Petersburg, June 27, IRNA -- Head of Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI), Fereydoun Abbasi, said on Thursay that IAEA seasonal report acknowledged peaceful nature of Iranian nuclear program as well as the advances Iran made in science and technology.
Abbasi made the remarks on the sidelines of the International Ministerial Conference on Nuclear Power in the 21st Century at Saint Petersburg, Russia.
Speaking to IRNA, he said Iran displayed its peaceful nuclear capabilities to the world nations at the international Atom Expo 2013.
The world should understand that Iran's nuclear activities are of peaceful nature and seek to bring more welfare and scientific development to the world, he said.
Passage of time truly indicated the falsehood of the propaganda campaign raised by certain countries on Iran's nuclear program, he said adding that world countries should opt for interaction rather than pressing ahead with propaganda.
The International Ministerial Conference on Nuclear Power in the 21st Century Saint Petersburg indicates that the world countries should pursue interaction to promote understanding and friendship, he said.
The Islamic Republic of Iran is advocating the spirit of international cooperation and is ready to put its nuclear achievements at disposal of world nations, Abbasi said.
He made it clear that Iran's nuclear products are competitive at the world market.
Iran is determined to obtain its share from the world market by presenting its capabilities, he said.
Iran's active presence along with five other top nuclear countries got a wide coverage on the world media.
