Iran's nuclear technology enters into commercial phase

Saint Petersburg, Russia, June 26, IRNA -- Iran's nuclear technology has entered into commercial phase.
A group of Iranian officials from the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI) took part at Atom Expo 2013 international Fair in Saint Petersburg, Russia, displaying achievements of Iranian nuclear technology.
Advisor to Head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran Behzad Soltani said that the organization has entered into the phase of commerce.
Iran has successfully demonstrated its technical and scientific achievements at the Expo which indicates the country's significant progress, he said.
Iran for the first time entered at the international Ministerial Conference on Nuclear Power of the 21st Century at Saint Petersburg and successfully displayed capabilities and achievements in the field of nuclear technology, he said.
He said that after Russia, Iran's pavilion was the best which drew the attention of visitors.
He said that Iranian scientists successfully indicated the country's ability in processing uranium from yellowcake to upper levels.
He made it clear that the exhibition was a good opportunity for Iran to welcome those interested in purchase Iranian nuclear technology.
He said that Iran can exports it products with most competitive prices at the world marke.
Iran is also able to supply all types of radioisotopes to the world market, he said.
AEOI's deputy and managing director for construction of nuclear power plants in Iran Mohammad Ahmadian said Iran's presence at the international event fully demonstrates the country's capabilities in the field.
It is very promising that Iran could play an active role at the international event in presence of its global rivals, Ahmadian said.
The international event is a good opportunity for Iranian scientists and experts to show their ability in designing and building nuclear power plants, he said.
Head of Iran's nuclear immunity organization Naser Rastkhah said the exhibition is a suitable opportunity for Iranian experts to prove their royalty to the issue of immunity in dealing with nuclear science.
The support made by Iranian people was the key to success of Iranian experts in the field, he said.
Iranian experts are to present their achievements in the field of nuclear technology at the expert committee to be held on the sidelines of the exhibition.
Topics of the expert committee will be international nuclear rights, teaching of nuclear science, protecting the environment, and technological know-how.
