Five Iranian Navy fleet deployed from N. Indian Ocean to Bab ul-Mandab, Red Sea

Sirjan, Kerman Prov., May 22, IRNA -- Navy Commander of the Islamic Republic Army Rear Admiral Habibollah Sayyari said on Wednesday that five Iranian Navy fleet are deployed in an area stretching from north Indian Ocean to Bab ul-Mandab and Red Sea.
He told reporters that the Navy fleet on international maritime expeditions are equipped with missile launchers and are capable of carrying special operations if necessary to defend sovereignty of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
'Today, Iranian Navy is self-sufficient to produce hardware and maintenance of combat equipment,' he added.
He noted that education to his forces are modern and up-to-date and the manpower are highly motivated and qualified.
'Present in all scenes of maritime environment have proved our strength to the world people.'
