Iranian presidential hopeful, Kamran Baqeri Lankarani, has pledged to select highly competent figures from different political fronts as his cabinet ministers in case he wins the Islamic Republic's upcoming presidential election.
The former Iranian health minister also said on Tuesday that he is planning to form his administration with individuals who are not widely known on the political scene, should he win the presidential polls.
The principlist Perseverance Front has named Lankarani as its candidate for the 11th presidential election in June. He officially announced his candidacy for the forthcoming election on April 21.
Iran's 11th presidential election will be held on June 14. Presidential hopefuls can register from May 7 to 11.
The president of Iran is elected for a four-year term in a national election and candidates must be vetted for qualifications by the Guardian Council.
