West to be obliged to recognize Iran's nuclear right, MP
IRNA - Islamic Republic News Agency
Ardebil, April 11, IRNA -- Chairman of Majlis National Security and Foreign Policy Commission said here that the West will be compelled to recognize Iran's nuclear right one day.
Alaeddin Boroujerdi, said the West will give in to Iran's nuclear right sooner or later.
Addressing a local gathering in this northwestern city, he said today the Group 5+1- the US, Britain, Russia, China and France plus Germany- has withdrawn from its stands.
One day, they urged Iran to abandon its uranium enrichment activities and now call for a halt in 20 percent enrichment, he noted.
As to extension of the talks between Iran and the sextet, he said one reason is that discussing major international issues is a time-consuming process.
He added that Washington's wrong information about Iran's peaceful nuclear program provided to those having veto right and playing key role in the talks is another reason.
He reiterated that the outcome of the negotiations would benefit Iran.
Turning to Zionist regime, Boroujerdi stressed that the Islamic Republic of Iran has not changed its strategic policy regarding that regime since the victory of the 1979 Islamic Revolution.
Iran has not accepted legitimacy of the Zionist regime in the global arenas since then.
