Jalili: 5+1 has to win Iran's confidence
IRNA - Islamic Republic News Agency
Moscow, April 7, IRNA -- Secretary of Iran's Supreme National Security Council Saeed Jalili said that 5+1 has to win Tehran's trust since seeking hostile approach is a non-constructive manner.
According to IRNA based on his interview with Russia Today TV news channel, he cautioned the 5+1 against pursuing hostile manners against Iran, saying that it would be of no constructive results for the West.
Pointing out that trust-building is a two-way procedure, Jalili stressed that Tehran has already taken necessary steps towards it.
He explained that talking of trust-building does not mean negating rights of a nation but rather actions and behaviors which would facilitate cooperation.
He assessed the Almaty talks as positive, noting that the parties in the talks had the chance to discuss the two different packages offered by the other side.
Iran's top nuclear negotiator underlined that West's sanctions imposed on Iran has had no serious impacts on the progress trend of the Iranian economy.
