Salehi: Iran to take path ensuring both sides' satisfaction

Vienna, March 1, IRNA -- Foreign Minister Ali-Akbar Salehi expressed optimism about trend of talks between Iran and 5+1 Group, saying Iran will take the path which will finally bring about both sides' satisfaction.

He made the remarks in an interview with the Austrian TV. Salehi who was in Vienna to take part in the Fifth Global Forum of UN Alliance of Civilizations added, 'I consider the Kazkhstan nuclear talks as a turning point and a revolution in the course of the Iran-5+1G negotiations.

Meanwhile, in an interview with IRNA the IRI foreign minister said that good progress has been achieved in the course of the recent talks.

'The talks promise a good future', he noted.

The eighth round of Iran-5+1 Group talks were held in Kazakhstan's capital city, Almaty, on February 26th and 27th.

Fifth Global Forum of UN Alliance of Civilizations wrapped up on Thursday.

The United Nations Alliance of Civilization (UNAOC) was established in 2005, at the initiative of the Governments of Spain and Turkey, under the auspices of the United Nations.

The Alliance of Civilizations aims to improve understanding and cooperative relations among nations and peoples across cultures and religions. It also helps to counter the forces that fuel polarization and extremism.
