Iran offers new proposal to G5+1 (Analysis)
IRNA - Islamic Republic News Agency
Almaty, Feb 26, IRNA -- In the new round of talks between the Islamic Republic of Iran and G5+1 in Almaty the two sides have declared that they will put new proposals on the table.
According to a close source to the negotiation, the Islamic Republic of Iran is to offer new proposals to G5+1 to help resolve the standoff.
The new proposal is similar to Iran's proposal offered in Moscow and to some extent it is the updated version of the same proposal in line with Iran's principles.
Iran's proposals will be offered in proportion with the offers extended by G5+1, said the source.
He said that in Almaty Iran will acknowledge the other party's offer in Moscow and will put forward a blueprint to proceed with nuclear talks to end the standoff.
Some western diplomats have already declared that G5+1 is to offer new proposal on the table.
During today talks, the G5+1 has not called on Iran to seal off Fordo nuclear site or suspend its nuclear activities or suspend enriching 20 percent uranium, said another source.
A diplomat said on Monday that the proposal to be offered by G5+1 included slight changes to the proposal they made in Baghdad.
