IRNA - Islamic Republic News Agency

Tehran, Jan 19, IRNA -- Iran would never give up its rights in the Caspian Sea and is fully committed to international conventions and agreements, said a senior parliamentarian Saturday.

Rapporteur of the National Security and Foreign Policy Commission of Majlis Hossein Naqavi Hosseini made the remarks while presenting a report on the Caspian Sea meeting held in the northern city of Sari in Mazandaran Province on January 16-17.

He reiterated that the Islamic Republic of Iran maintains its national rights in this world's largest lake.

Iran would do all within its reach to establish the most friendly and sincere relations with its 15 neighboring states and prevent any possible tension organized by enemies in the region, the MP stressed.
