Tehran, Jan 4, IRNA -- Tehran Substitute Friday Prayers Leader Ayatollah Mohammad Ali Movahedi Kermani said enemies' economic pressure against Iran, like pressures they imposed on people during the 8-year war with Iraq's Saddam, would not make nation bow out.
In the second sermon of Tehran Friday Prayers, Ayatollah Movahedi Kermani said that people know what to do and what the secret of their honor is.
The ayatollah added that the Islamic awakening which God has gifted to Iranian nation is wonderful.
'I hope that this movement and awakening could be a role model for the west , which is suffering from economic oppression,' said the Ayatollah.
Referring to the reports that US drones have killed around 3,300 women and children in Pakistan so far, the Ayatollah said governments may remain with atheism but they won't remain with oppression.
'The US is shedding crocodile tears for massacre of 20 pupils and seven teachers in their own country, but their hands are bloody with innocent people lives around the world,' said the senior cleric.
