Judiciary will never allow foreign interference in Iran's judicial system

Tehran, Oct 31, IRNA -- Judiciary Chief Ayatollah Sadegh Amoli-Larijani described European Parliament's request to visit Iranian prisons as vivid interference in Iran's judicial system and reiterated that Judiciary will never allow any country to do so.
Addressing a session of the Judiciary's high-ranking officials, he added that Iran's prisons are far better than those of other countries, even those advocating human rights.
How does the European Parliament dare to set a precondition of visiting Iranian prisons and declare that it intends to present awards to those sentenced by the Iranian independent judicial system? he wondered.
Referring to the prevailing situation in Guantanamo Prison, Larijani added that western states accuse Iran at a time when Guantanamo Prison is still operational, unlike the US president's claim that it is closed. Nobody knows that what is going on there.
Underlining that the US prisons and even those built in the heart of Europe do not comply with the human rights principles, he further noted that the situation in Iran's prisons conform to humanity and Islamic laws and there is no need a European delegation visits Tehran.
European delegations' request is an insult to the Iranian nation and its judicial system, he said, adding that justice is main criterion in Iran's Judicial system.
